Chando is currently residing with her family in New York City. Chando started her acting career while attending Manhattan College. Chando was the first Maddie Coleman of the television soap drama As World turns. The role she played was from 2005 until 2007, and again for a few months, after the show's end in 2009. Alexandra first made an acting appearance in 2002 with the TV series House Blend portraying the role as Jenna Harper. As the World Turns on CBS was her first TV part following three years. Chando starred in American documentary films True life and Sherri in 2009; she was also a part of the Maddie Coleman character in As the World Turns. The actress was featured in two episodes Glory Daze (an American comedy-drama series) in the role of Annabelle. The credits on her TV show also include Castle and Hindsight.
